The 45 participants of the Vienna EU Evening course 2017-2018 spent three days in Brussels.The absolute highlight of their visit was their meeting at Berlaymont with the President of the EU Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker. President Juncker gave them a warm, though short welcome: "It was important to me to meet you, even if I have to conduct the brexit negotiations straight afterwards."

Among others, the students met the MEPs Othmar Karas, Karin Kadenbach, Monika Vana, Angelika Minar, the Embassy Councillor Miriam Dondi, the ÖBB lobbyist Victor Vaugoin and many others.
