Start of a New Academic Year in Berlin: Global Studies 2023/24

We’re delighted to introduce our new MAEIS European Integration Global Studies group, who began their courses in Berlin this week!

They were welcomed by Director General Matthias Waechter, Programme Director Laurent Baechler, plus module directors, at the Studentendorf in Schlachtensee, looking particularly autumnal right now.

The academic year has begun with introductory classes in Federalism with Frédéric Lépine, Economic Globalisation with Laurent Baechler and International Relations with George Tzogopoulos.

A bus tour of Berlin is also organised so they can get to know their new city better.

We look forward to getting to know them more as they move from Berlin to Nice in January, and then to Rome or Istanbul in April!
