New partnership with Mahmoud El Materi University in Tunis
We are delighted to introduce our new academic partner in Tunis, the Mahmoud El Materi University, where our students of the Master in Advanced European and International Studies - Mediterranean Studies will spend the second term.
The Mahmoud El Materi University is keen to regularly enrich its course offer and has plans to open a Master's degree in political science which is divided into three options:
1/ Political professions (fundamental political science, strong specialisation and professionalisation allowing the acquisition of skills linked to the different facets of political professions).
2/ Security and development (security linked to the challenges of democratisation and defence in the 21st century, elaboration and evaluation of public security and defence policies, the fight against terrorism and the challenge of cybersecurity).
3/ Digital technologies and public policies (acquisition of strategic skills for the analysis and implementation of public policies related to digital and new technologies).
This week, our Mediterranean students left Nice for Tunis, where they started their studies with a rich programme of visits, conferences and exchanges, including a discussion with Mustapha Ben Jaafar about the 2011 National Constituent Assembly process, a seminar by Dr Adnen el Ghali in the Medina of Tunis on the theme "Tunis, a Mediterranean diplomatic theatre", and then a few days in Kairouan and Sidi Bouzid next week.
We wish them good luck for the second term!
