European Council Summit in Nice: 11-12 December 2023

After two days of intensive negotiating and debates about the future of the EU, we're pleased to announce that a partial agreement was reached between all member states! On the agenda for this summit were migration policy and future EU enlargement. A consensus was reached on migration policy, however talks unfortunately stalled over EU enlargement.

This was a great opportunity for our students of the MAEIS Applied European Policy and Governance Studies and MAEIS Mediterranean Studies programmes to put into practice the negotiation techniques they learnt last month.
