European Council Summit in Nice: 2-3 December 2021

After two days of intensive negotiating and debates about the future of the EU, we're pleased to announce that all member states signed the agreement at midday today! It was a close call, with the wording of the agreement almost causing a deadlock. On the agenda for this summit were social policy, migration and institutional reform.

This was the perfect opportunity for our students of the MAEIS European Policy and Governance - Trilingual Studies and MAEIS Mediterranean Studies programmes to put into practice the negotiation techniques they learnt earlier this week.
