Study Trip to Brussels for the Energy Master Students
At the end of March, it was the turn of our Master in Global Energy Transition and Governance students to head to the Belgian and European capital!
In Brussels, the students had a series of visits to various institutions and companies in the energy and climate sectors.
At the European Commission, they attended a press briefing dealing with the banning of internal combustion engine vehicles, as well as a meeting at DG NEAR to discover how they cooperate with Southern Neighbourhood countries in the fields of energy and climate change.
They also met with numerous actors in the renewable energy sector at Hydrogen Europe, WindEurope and SolarPower Europe to discuss policy developments and future trends.
Furthermore, they were able to catch up with a few Energy Alumni working in Brussels at EEX and REScoop.eu to share their experiences!
Thank you to all the institutions, companies and speakers for their insights into the European energy sector!
