We are pleased to announce that the MAEIS European Policy and Governance - Trilingual Studies programme is being thoroughly revised and renewed, and would like to inform you about the main changes that will come into effect from the academic year 2022/23:
New Title
Master in Advanced European and International Studies - Applied European Policy and Governance Studies
Academic Studies with an Increased Applied Approach
- Academic studies at the crossroads of theory and practice - students learn by doing
- Applied studies with vocational approach to "be fit for the job" in European institutions and international organisations
- Variety of teaching methods and interactive formats, including presentations, discussions, case studies, role plays, etc.
- Workshops strengthen professional skills, e.g. presenting, negotiating, intercultural communication
Bilingual Programme with a Trilingual Option
- The programme will be taught in English and French and requires active language proficiency in both languages (English: minimum C1; French: minimum B2)
- Trilingual option: Special German language courses with a focus on German EU policies
- Visits to relevant ministries and public institutions in Berlin
- Students choosing the trilingual option will receive an additional certificate with a trilingual mention
Extended Study Trip
- Extended and intensive study trip to Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg during the second term
- Visits and briefings at EU institutions and international organisations, NGOs and European agencies
- Meetings and discussions with EU insiders
- Networking events with institutional representatives and CIFE alumni working in these 3 cities
