Academic requirements
The programme is targeted at students who have already completed a first degree (minimum three years of study at university level).
An active knowledge of English is required.
Language requirements
The programme is taught in English and therefore an active knowledge of the English language is required. As proof of your knowledge of English you may include the following documents with your application:
• The test report from one of the following institutions.
Once issued, please ensure you give CIFE permission to view your results.
- IELTS test report at 6.5 overall
- TOEFL certificate at CBT = 213 or IBT = 82
- Other tests organised by the British Council
OR
• At least one reference from your professor(s), stating your level of language competence.
OR
• A statement from an Anglophone university, certifying that you have participated in classes held in this language for at least one academic year.
Selection of applications
Candidates will be selected by the Admissions Committee, headed by the Director of the Institute. The selection committee meets regularly in order to examine incoming applications.
Deadline
In any case, applications should reach the CIFE as early as possible in order to have the best chances of success and before the deadline.

Registration procedure
Candidates must submit a registration dossier to the CIFE secretariat.

Important
The application form must be completed, signed and accompanied by the following documents (in English):
- Curriculum Vitae
- Letter of Motivation
- Copy of your original University degree(s) + copy of the English translation
- Transcript of records + copy of the English translation
- List and summary of research papers written as part of your University degree(s) (Optional)
- Two letters of recommendation written in English preferably by professors, lecturers or professional supervisors
- Documents certifying adequate knowledge of the required languages
The CIFE student services will support you as much as possible to ensure a smooth and flexible procedure, including the possibility to apply and submit documents that are currently not available at a later stage. If you cannot submit all requested documents at once, please get in touch with the student services (see contact details below).
