Our Mission
At CIFE’s JETRC, we are committed to fostering a sustainable and equitable future by promoting research and understanding of just transition principles and practices. Our mission is to provide you with a comprehensive platform that empowers you to delve into the world of just energy transition with confidence and ease.
If, like us, you are involved in research in the concept and policies of just transition, you are probably also confronted with a dispersed environment of publications, papers, projects and events in Europe and beyond. The aim of the JETRC is to collect as many resources as possible to help you start your own research.
What You'll Discover
Within the JETRC platform, we offer a collection of resources published by authors around the world and categorised into five main sections:
1. Library: Explore a treasure trove of documents encompassing legislation divided by country, thought-provoking position papers from various stakeholders (NGOs, private sector, civil society, press, advisory), enlightening books and academic articles. While our primary focus is on the European Union, we aim to gather insights from around the globe in our JT in the World section.
2. Projects: Dive into exciting projects and initiatives that are shaping the landscape of just transition. Gain valuable insights into the innovative endeavours that are driving change.

Additionally, discover resources specific to individual countries, highlighting their unique just transition stories.

JETRC collects articles dedicated to the topic of justice in the energy system published by authors around the world in order to facilitate access to these documents. Please note that this database may not be exhaustive, and there might be other relevant publications that are not listed. The sources available are limited to documents in English only. More sources are available in local languages but couldn’t be included in the JETRC platform.
