Lecture at Texas A&M University

Dr Michael Meimeth, Director of CIFE's Overseas Programme, held a lecture on April 9, 2018 at Texas A&M University

The lecture provided the students with an introduction to the understanding and explaining of the basics the European Union and European integration. 
It dealt with the most prominent Political Science concepts to explain and understand European integration and the European Union: supranational and state-centric approaches were discussed as well as concepts to understand the governance system of the EU. A brief discussion of current issues and challenges European integration is confronted with, rounded off the lecture.
